It's not that he was trying to show things from different points of view. You can't have a Superhero who is really a Republican because a Superhero is fighting for someone else's rights. A vigilante is possible as a Republican because they are out for themselves and only care about their own agenda. But Stan Lee always intended for Ironman to be someone who should be bad being good. Ironman was meant to be a conservative Republican but Stan Lee wanted to create a character whom we should hate but we love. It’s not that he was trying to show things from different points of view. You can’t have a Superhero who is really a Republican because a Superhero is fighting for someone else’s rights. A vigilante is possible as a Republican because they are out for themselves and only care about their own agenda.
