As of December 21st, 2007 Jon Favreau has stated the following, “No date has yet been set for the final trailer.” Thank you, Mr. Favreau for jumping in and choking the rumors circling the release date of the final Iron Man trailer! Oh I’m sure there will be another rumor spring up tomorrow but hey it’s nice to hear the news straight from the man himself. Feels kind of like erasing an Etch-a-Sketch after my 2-year-old has been playing on it a while…such a feeling of renewal.

If you haven’t guessed, one minor annoyance of mine on the web are rumors. I say “minor” because it’s one of those love-hate relationships. Kind of like when I say, “I hate you stupid chocolate for looking so gooood” of course while I’m undressing it licking my lips (I’ll stop there should any peeps be reading). Yah, chocolate makes you fat but dang it tastes good.

Hulk Rumor

Speaking of rumors. If only I could get some more information on the Hulk rumor. I didn’t bother addressing it when it started because I can’t find anything substantial to back it up. I was even bold enough to send Mr. Favreau a message thinking he’d choose mine out of thousands he receives every day and give me alone the answer for which everyone else in the world (hardcore Iron Man fans anyway) wants to know. “Ahhh.” Reality…a cool drink of water or is it that warm sensation you feel suddenly while in the water standing next to a giggling toddler on your day off at the pool? I can’t remember.

For all of you who have no idea what I’m talking about regarding the Ironman-Hulk rumor let me bring you up to speed. There is a rumor going around that Hulk is going to make a cameo in the Ironman movie and Iron Man is going to make a cameo in the Hulk movie. I’ve even heard that they are the same shot just different perspectives. It would be very cool but I’m not going to get my hopes up quite yet.

(Yes, I’m contributing to the rumor a tad but I just couldn’t help it anymore. There’s just too many Ironman-Hulk rumors floating around out there overloading my geek circuits. Hey, but at least I didn’t say it was true did I? Who am I kidding? I’m such a hypocrit!)
