Iron Woman outdoes Iron Man? Joe the Plumber…Hero or Villain?

McCain is Iron Man’s ( Tony Stark’s ) Choice

I posed a public question on Jon Favreau’s Iron Man MySpace page some time ago asking the public for whom they thought Ironman Tony Stark would vote if he was alive and well in the real world. Like a sea of Iron Man firepower the opinions came rolling in. Myriads of tiny little battles from Super-Bloggers everywhere erupted on the small Ironman site and as usual name calling broke out with passionate fervor. Normally, I like to stay out of politics because of the extremes of human ugliness it promotes but like so many of you passionate Iron Man fans out there I couldn’t help but formulate my own personal opinion over time and now I’m writing this because I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore.Let me say I consider myself an Independent. This beautiful word, “Independent”, is short for “Don’t stamp me with a label and think you know me”. If I had said Republican you more than likely would have seen me in your mind’s eye as claiming “Caucasian” on forms, making tons of dough and attending church on a regular basis in an attempt to hide my homosexuality. If I had said Democrat you would have pictured me as Pepe’ La Pu-ing trees, devouring babies and in practice of some taboo form of sexuality as I watch “The View” on my solar-powered TV.

So for whom would Ironman Tony Stark vote? Jon Favreau himself replied, “McCain” so being that he probably knows the character frontwards and backwards I’ll put that question to rest. Now don’t go bothering Mr. Favreau with your hate mail you fun political hot-head types.  After-all, Favreau never said HE is voting McCain.

Sarah Palin is the Iron Woman

So what’s this talk of Iron Woman?  There is all this talk about being able to cross the party line…what about the gender line?  I have a prediction.  Men will show up in droves voting for Sarah Palin without as much thought about McCain.  The main-RIVER (not a stream) media isn’t talking about it but lets just say that guys in general are telling me Palin’s their man. You see, I’m a man who honestly has felt a little guilty that a woman hasn’t held a higher office before. Yes, I do feel there is a tremendous imbalance in the man-woman ratio of power. However; I refuse to vote for a woman, African-American or let alone a man based on those facts alone. I vote on what they are telling me they will fight for when they get into office. I base if they are being truthful with me on their voting record. I could care less if they are a green hermaphrodite as long as they were born and raised here in America and will fight to keep her strong and safe from our enemies and will actually strive to PROTECT our constitution and not replace it with their own self-indulgent idiotology.

However; that said Sarah Palin is my excuse to finally vote for a woman who I think truly cares more about people than obsessing over being a woman.  She is the first woman in politics that I cared ever to get to know because Palin doesn’t make me feel like she hates me automatically because I’m a man and that she’s not entering Washington as damaged goods but a woman who will fight for the average gal AND Joe the Plumber. It takes an Iron Woman to keep her, dare I say it, “traditional” family together while trying to advance her career. I admire her and yes she is attractive but I’m not a sheeple and I don’t go voting for people to fight for me based on their good looks and because they seem nice. My father who admire for his eagerness to tell it like it is always use to tell me, not always is a nice person a good person. People in general mistakenly tend to think they are one in the same.  Where are the bra-burning women who have fought for a woman’s right to hold office all these years? Did they take it back? Did they lose one another’s phone numbers? Why isn’t Sarah Palin a well of inspiration and hope for so many of them? I’m perplexed that so many politically motivated organizations that claim they are for the advancement of women’s rights have such a hate for her and aren’t uniting together and getting her into office. What’s with the hate speech of so many in the entertainment industry? I mean Madonna what’s your problem? The Material Girl hates Palin? What happened to the hate legislation so many Democrats and some Republicans fought for as they attempt to legislate what our so-called free people can think?  What has Palin done to deserve this incredible backlash of hatred by those in the public eye? Could it be that they are just simply ticked off that McCain made such a spot-on awesome decision? Do people like this seriously think we’re so zombified by their star power, affluence and pointy bras that we’ll suddenly start chanting “Obama” because they do?

Anyone who has actually had time to follow the political comic book this year can’t possibly tell me with a straight face that Palin hasn’t been completely abused and demeaned by the Media in the typical beer-fraternity fashion. I’m not a woman and the sexism by the usually wagging-no-no-finger of the Media offends my sensibilities. The Media’s portrayal of Palin is hypocritical and flat-out undermining men everywhere who have gotten over trying to “hit dat” and into “listenin’ to dat”.

Women everywhere should consider taking a second look at Sarah Palin and refuse to be influenced by Barbara Walters and Oprah who are attempting to pressure you into choosing their ONE based on a locker room fear that you’ll be hated by the cool girls if you don’t.  How dare they declare “the One”.  Last I checked Oprah doesn’t hold office and the people haven’t given her that kind of power to tell us who the Messiah is.  In fact, last I checked Obama snubbed the working woman when he chose to be bitchy and selected the typical good-ol’ boy for his running mate instead of Hillary Clinton.  Be honest with yourself and consider this. Had Obama chosen Hillary as his running mate together they would have handed the Republicans (if you hate them so much) an unprecedented loss as never before seen in our history.  A candidate who is running for the highest office in the world based on that poor decision alone should be disqualified for being a Goofy Goober. Obama could still win but come on…just because Obama can form proper sentences (and yes we all miss that in a president) doesn’t mean he can make good decisions. In fact, any major decision I’ve watched him make so far have been very poor ones and have only been counterbalanced by the Media’s love affair with Obama and his unprecedented bank role constantly advertising to me he’ll magically change my life for the better if I elect him as President.

Socialists Do Indeed Have Their Messiah:  Can the Average Guy Like Joe The Plumber Stop the Madness?

Alas, I speak of Joe the Plumber. I don’t care to get to know Joe. He’s not that interesting because he’s a lot like me. If he was in a comic book he wouldn’t even be in color and would likely be a background guy in an Iron Man comic.   Joe is just an average guy.   He is an average American who simply had a question for a politician as that politician seeks to sit in the chair of all chairs. What I do find interesting; however, is the Sovietesque way in which the Media investigated Joe the Plumber as they sought to discredit and embarrass him. “How dare he question the will of Obama our Messiah?” More than the election I am deeply concerned what took place here. If every time one of us speaks out and loud against the direction the messiahs of our flock are taking us are we to be investigated and our trash gone through and shown to the public? Shouldn’t the Media have investigated the answer to the question Joe was asking if anything?  If the average American can’t stand up and ask a bold question of the people who seek our confidence than America is not free anymore and as a people we need to be our own heroes and put down any attempt to silence us. We should not take being told to shut up and sit down simply because we don’t believe what’s popular.

Socialism Hasn’t Gone Away It Just Went Out And Got A New Name and That Name is GLOBALISM

There are two super powers in the world right now the United States and China. Look around and ask yourself. Is it true we are finding more common ground with China because they are becoming more like us or are we becoming more like them? Unfortunately if we let ourselves be fooled in the real world no Iron Man will come to clean up our mess. If true America is taken from us we will never get it back because now the power that replaces her has the technology to keep tabs on you and control you in ways you don’t have to be a comic book reader to imagine. Spongebob and Patrick are fun to watch and they make us feel good inside but should we vote them into office based on that? If you are a Socialist and believe that if your neighbor has more stuff than you then you deserve half of the difference I can totally understand why Obama has your vote.  However, are the rest of you seriously going to choose him because he looks like a nice guy?  I can imagine electing Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick into office and they too would inspire, “Change”.  But what does “Change” mean to us land critters?  Why isn’t the question being asked over and over, “What is America changing into?”

  1. Very interesting how you have equated the plot of the Ironman movie to the current events & politics. Even more interesting is your analysis of the socialism of the future! Nice article.
