Ok, folks. For those of us who like football the Super Bowl is a no- brainer. However those of us who don’t, now have an incentive for watching. As I’ve mentioned in an earlier article, Audi is doing a commerical and will work Iron Man into it in someway. Well, word is from Marvel that a new Iron Man movie trailer will be debuting during the Super Bowl. I’ve been anxious to see something new and now Jon Favreau has answered my prayers.
P.S. As a preverbial carrot Marvel also has released hi-res versions of the Iron Man Movie trailer as well as hi-res versions of the Marvel Kids 3-part Iron Man Advervideo which are absolutely gorgeous. Check them out below:

Iron Man Trailer vs. Dragonlance
How do writers and directors take interesting content and completely ruin a fan favorite like the Dragonlance series? Here was my logic: Yes, it’s animated but hey they must be serious about making it half-way decent because they got one of my favorites, Kiefer Sutherland, to join the adventure. Well, let’s just say Spock would be seriously disappointed in me. Perhaps in the next “24″ episode Kiefer can arrest these guys under suspicion of trying to sabotage his career. Unfortunately, for D&D fans the best part of the entire DVD is frankly the Iron Man trailer. That’s pretty sad considering I’ve probably seen the Iron Man movie trailer 50 times so it’s not like it debuted with some fresh scenes. Yes, it was fun to see the Iron Man movie trailer on my TV instead of on a monitor, but the rest of my experience was like looking a Beholder straight in the eye. Let me save you some money (consider I’ve always been a big D&D fan) try to get your friend to rent it and ride his wallet instead because I know if you’re like me you’re going to see it anyway regardless of how bad people say it is.
About Dragonlance
Released on 15 January 2008 on DVD, this is the animated featured film version of the first book in the Dragonlance Chronicles series. The movie features the voices of Kiefer Sutherland (Raistlin), Lucy Lawless (Goldmoon), and Michael Rosenbaum (Tanis).
Life-long friends, (Tanis Half-Elven, Sturm Brightblade, Raistlin, Caramon, Flint Fireforge (a dwarf) and Tasslehoff Burrfoot (a kender), had gone their separate ways only to meet again five years later in a bar (that’s it…I should have been drunk while watching this) in their hometown. While waiting for the last member of their party to arrive they meet a beautiful and mysterious barbarian woman (Goldmoon) with a warrior companion (Riverwind). All of evildom is after the staff that is said to reawaken the Gods of Light that had abandoned mankind long ago. These adventurers are pursued by goblins and all sorts of D&D favorites whom are working with the dark forces of Krynn to obtain the staff before the true power of the staff can be used and yet again defeat the evil queen.

I was so impressed with Kristy Lee Cook in her recent American Idol performance. In addition to singing, acting and modeling, Kristy Lee Cook just about does it all from riding bareback to back kicks. Her rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ wowed the judges and many fans as well. Good Luck Kristy!

A new photo of Ironman from the Iron Man movie came out of Marvel today, January 22nd, 2008. It’s pretty much a shot of Iron Man (Iron Man Photo 2) with the same background just a slightly different pose and you can see more of him.

There are two new pics the Iron Man movie gods have released. Frankly, I’m a little bored of this same pose reminiscent of Elvis on stage stretching out his arm and posing for a screaming crowd of fans. Again, Tony Stark’s arm is outstretched testing the gauntlet except in this one he has on just a little more armor. Perhaps our next shot will be Tony Stark with yet more armor on his upper arm and shoulder. I feel like I’m getting teased by a stripper in reverse. The first one is Jon Favreau directing Robert Downey Jr. to (you guessed it) stretch out his arm and point somewhere. (OK that part was speculation but I think you get my point).
Where’s the beef?
Come on guys toss a photo that has some meat in it. I feel like lately were getting nothing but diet photos and I’m getting this aftertaste in my mouth. Where’s Terrence, Samuel, Jeff and Gwyn? I thought I read somewhere they are in the movie too.
